The hunt for Vash Stampede, the Humanoid Typhoon, is ready for its outcome. TOHO animation announced the release date of Trigun Stargaze, the previously confirmed "final phase" of the anime Trigun Stampede. The sequel is set two and a half years after the events of the first part and is scheduled to premiere january 2026.
The announcement was accompanied by the reveal of a trailer that will air on October 11 at 6:00 a.m. (Japan time).
Production team and elite staff
The Orange studio (known for BEASTARS) has assembled an all-star team to conclude the saga, including recognized talent and key members returning from Trigun Stampede:
- Address: Masako Sato (Cheer up Yell!, Haikyu!! To The Top) take the helm of the project.
- Original story: Takehiko Oxi come back to history.
- Scripts: Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Girls' Last Tour, Do It Yourself!!) is in charge of writing.
- Original Character Design and Concept: Kouji Tajima come back from the first part.
- Animation Character Design: Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who recently directed the acclaimed film Look Back, joins the team.
The original series, Trigun Stampede, premiered in January 2023. As with that delivery, Crunchyroll it has confirmed that it will broadcast the "final phase" of Trigun Stargaze simultaneously with its broadcast in Japan.
