The horse
girls have crossed the finish line first on the biggest stage in the industry.
During The Game Awards 2025 ceremony held this Thursday, Uma
Musume Pretty Derby was crowned the winner in the Best Mobile Game
category, consolidating the success of its global launch in June of this year.
An
"Umazing" award
Upon
receiving the award, Motohiro Okubo, CEO of Cygames America,
expressed his excitement: "It is a tremendous honor to receive this
'umazing' award; This was only possible with the support of our fans. We deeply
appreciate all the coaches of Uma Musume." The win is a milestone
for Cygames, whose franchise has not only revived interest in real
horse racing in Japan, but now dominates the Western mobile market.
