The famous
phrase "I can fix her" has just been taken to the most literal
and questionable extreme possible. The Qureate studio,
infamously known in the otaku community for giving us gems of "cultural
cultivation" such as Bunny Garden, has just announced its next
great masterpiece: a simulator where your only mission in life is to pick up
your virtual girlfriend's garbage.
The
otaku dream of cleaning a pigsty
Under the
working title of Filthy Room Girlfriend project and scheduled
for sometime in 2027, this title puts you in a boyfriend's shoes with too much
patience. According to the promotional art revealed on February 27, your
beautiful anime girl's apartment looks like a stage straight out of the Compulsive
Hoarders program: mountains of trash bags, stacked online shopping
boxes and, knowing the developers' history, an unsanitary amount of underwear
thrown everywhere.
Although
the project is in an early stage and the details of the gameplay are
still a mystery, the premise has already left the community scratching their
heads between disbelief and the genuine desire to play it to see how far the
absurdity goes.
The
Qureate Fetish Multiverse
But if
sweeping a virtual apartment isn't your thing, the "Qureate Digest
2026-2027" event dropped more bombs to empty wallets. The studio confirmed
that Bunny Garden 2 will arrive in spring 2026, accompanied by
a second spin-off of the franchise that does not yet have a
release date.
As if that
wasn't enough, they also announced Tokyo Valkyries (a card
RPG) and Splash Girls, a crazy 3D action game where your goal is to
inject vaccines into gigantic waifus infected by a mysterious
virus. Definitely, in the Qureate offices they do not know the word
"limit".
