Rozemyne's
relentless rise within the nobility is about to unleash a new chapter on the
small screen. To warm up for the spring season, the production committee of the
fourth season of Ascendance of a Bookworm (known in Japan
as Honzuki no Gekokujo) announced an attractive promotional
strategy: they will release a new video trailer every week for an entire month.
The calendar will culminate with the great premiere of the series on Japanese
television on April 4.
The first
thematic preview, entitled "Amor Familiar", is now available and
allowed us to listen to a fragment of the choral version of the ending theme
"Ima mo, Arigato", performed by Erika Ikuta. The
following videos will explore themes such as fantasy and bookbinding, scheduled
for March 14 and 21 respectively. Finally, on March 28, the second main trailer
will be released, which will include a look at the opening theme
"Pages", by Little Glee Monster.

As
previously revealed, this sequel marks a radical change in production, coming
under the umbrella of the acclaimed Wit Studio. The director's
baton is now held by Yoshiaki Iwasaki (a veteran of Hayate
the Combat Butler and We Never Learn), replacing Mitsuru
Hongo, who directed the first three seasons.
Despite the
change of studio, the project maintains several key pieces to preserve the
essence of the original story. Mariko Kunisawa returns to
oversee the scripts, while MICHIRU will return to compose the soundtrack.
For her part, artist Aiko Minowa takes on the role of new
character designer.
