The journey
to become Japan's number one hero still has unprecedented feats to show on
screen. As part of the massive celebrations for its first decade of existence,
the acclaimed Boku no Hero Academia franchise will return
this summer with the premiere of a new animated short
entitled "I am a hero too".
This
project is designed to inject life into a self-contained story drawn by
talented mangaka Kohei Horikoshi, which was originally
published exclusively in the pages of the commemorative book My Hero
Academia Ultra Age. The arrival of this heroic little pill follows the
successful formula of "More", another touching short based on the
same special publication that aired just a day earlier, demonstrating a clear
interest in keeping the community active.

Although
the acclaimed shonen has already concluded the publication of
its main story, adapting the exclusive content of the Ultra Age book
turns out to be a masterstroke for the production committee. Not only does this
honor Horikoshi's hard work, but it gives international fans the opportunity to
enjoy adventures in animated format that they would hardly have physical access
to.
At the
moment, the animation studio has reserved the publication of a video trailer or
the list of the seiyuus who will participate in the project.
However, the title strongly suggests an inspirational narrative, where some
character will step forward to prove that anyone can achieve greatness with the
right determination, embracing the core values that catapulted Izuku Midoriya
and Class 1-A to global stardom.
