Subaru
Natsuki's loop of suffering and redemption is far from over. The animated
adaptation of Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- set the
course for its fourth season with the release of a new promotional poster and a
new trailer. Fans of this relentless isekai can now mark
April 8 on their calendars, the date on which the broadcast of
this sequel will officially start on Crunchyroll.
Unlike the
traditional broadcast format, the production committee confirmed that this new
installment will consist of a total of 19 episodes divided
into two parts. The story will begin in the spring season with the "Loss
Arc" (The Loss Arc), and then resume the action in the middle of summer
with the "Recapture Arc" starting August 12.

The sound
section promises to be one of the most ambitious in the history of the
franchise. The newly released trailer allowed us to hear a sneak peek of
"Ender Ember," the melancholy ending theme performed
by MYTH&ROID veterans in an unprecedented collaboration
with TK from Ling Tosite Sigure. For its part, the adrenaline of
the opening theme entitled "Recollect" will be provided
by Konomi Suzuki together with the American rapper Ashnikko,
under the production of Giga & TeddyLoid.
As a
curious fact for fans, the team took advantage of the revelation of this desert
stage to announce an official tourist collaboration with the Prefecture of
Tottori. This region, famous for being home to the largest sand dunes in all of
Japan, will serve as the real-world counterpart to the towering Auguria Dunes
that we'll see animated in the series.

Reviews
Through an
official statement, the musical group expressed its immense joy at returning to
give voice to the closing of the episodes after their work in past
installments. They explained that the lyrics of "Ender Ember" were
built around the theme of that "lingering heat" that remains after
witnessing an ending, seeking to capture the dense emotions that seep beyond
the current point of the story.
In
addition, they highlighted that TK's vocal participation injected a whole new
intensity into the track, making both voices resonate together to convey a
level of passion that they had never reached before in their previous
compositions.
