The culmination of Senku's epic scientific adventure is just around the corner with humanity's most ambitious mission: to build a moon rocket. The production committee revealed a new trailer for the third and final cour (quarter) of Dr. Stone: Science Future, confirming its television premiere for April 2.



The new promo trailer not only shows us the unprecedented powerful alliance between Senku and Xeno, but also confirms the involvement of legendary rock band Asian Kung-Fu Generation. The band composed the opening theme titled "Skins" exclusively to set the scene for the Science Kingdom's journey around the world in their collection of materials.

To achieve the moon landing, the crew needs the brightest minds, so the update served to introduce a key piece of the puzzle that Ryusui considers indispensable for the success of the space mission.


  • Seiichiro Yamashita as SAI The actor will give life to the man with the greatest mathematical capacity in all of humanity, whose intellect will be the main engine behind the rocket project.

Band and cast commentary


Vocalist Masafumi Gotoh, representative of Asian Kung-Fu Generation, reflected deeply on the message of the play. He pointed out that maybe it's us in the real world who need to start rebuilding civilization from scratch, and he composed this song imagining a bright future where everyone can travel to the moon. He described the piece as a theme designed to dance to while we carry our differences and worries.


For his part, actor Seiichiro Yamashita expressed great excitement to join the cast. He commented that when he read the manga he was very impressed by the immense value of life and the human drama that exists behind each invention. He assured that fans will enjoy seeing how SAI's talent will support the protagonists, and invited the audience to join them on this last leg of the journey.


About the original franchise


Created by writer Riichiro Inagaki (author of Eyeshield 21) and artist Boichi (Sun-Ken Rock), the original manga began serialization in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in March 2017, concluding its story in March 2022. This fourth and final animated season divided its broadcast into three parts; the first debuted in January 2025 and the second aired between July and September of that same year. The Crunchyroll platform will retain the global streaming rights for this grand conclusion
