An
invincible warrior who dies peacefully in her bed and wants with all her might
to fight again until exhaustion is a premise that promises a lot of action. The
anime adaptation of Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden (Kyoran
Reijo Nia Liston: Byojaku Reijo ni Tenseishita Kami-goroshi no Bujin no
Kareinaru Musou Roku) released its second official trailer, confirming not
only its premiere date for October 6, but also that the series will air for two
consecutive parts on television
The new
promotional trailer allows you to listen to a fragment of the opening theme
titled "Respawn!!", performed by the popular VTuber Tsunomaki
Watame. Along with this musical advance, the production announced the
addition of outstanding talents to the voice cast. Among the new additions
are Junichi Suwabe in the role of Hyurence Altoire, Maaya
Uchida as Sharro White, Kazuyuki Okitsu giving life
to Asuma and Koichi Sakaguchi playing Bendelio.
These
actors join a main cast led by Honoka Inoue in the role of Nia
Liston, accompanied by Fuka Izumi as Rinokis Funk, Rina
Honnizumi playing Hildetora Altoir, and Rina Hidaka as
Reliared Silver. The production of the project is in the hands of the
KONAMI animation studio, where Motoki Nakanishi takes
over the direction with Haruta Segi as an assistant. The
supervision and writing of the scripts is in charge of Gigaemon
Ichikawa, while Yuki Ito and Kana Tosaoka adapt
the character designs. The sound section has the music of Naoki Endo and
the sound direction of Hiromi Kikuta.

Originally
born as a series of light novels written by Umikaze
Minamino, the story began its digital publication on the Shosetsuka ni Naro
portal in 2019 before concluding in 2021. The work made the leap to the printed
format by the hand of the publisher Hobby Japan with illustrations by Jishaku in
its first volumes and later by Katana Canata from the third installment.
In addition, the franchise has a manga adaptation drawn
by Kabuto Kodai on the Manga UP! by Square Enix.
The plot
follows a former godslaying heroine who, after achieving unbeatable victories
all her life, ends up dying peacefully in her bed begging for one last worthy
battle. His wish is fulfilled when he wakes up reincarnated in the body of Nia
Liston, a fragile and sickly little girl. Despite her initial weak physical
condition, the protagonist decides to train tirelessly to regain her strength
and live with the firm determination to find the fight of her life.
