Mangaka Jun Mochizuki posted on his official Twitter account that his Vanitas no Carte manga is on indefinite hiatus due to the current situation regarding the spread of the Coronavirus in Japan.
Practically Mochizuki explained that the process for creating the manga is completely analogous, and his assistants would travel to and from Tokyo to work on the manga every month with him. However, after consulting with Square Enix staff, Mochizuki decided that it was dangerous for his assistants to continue this journey, so they decided to put the manga on hold for now.
