The anime Kamisama ni Natta hi, the new series from the creators of Angel Beats, is announced!

In a live broadcast through the Niconico platform, the Kamisama ni Natta hi project (The Day I Became a God) was announced, the new series to be produced by franchise creators such as Angel Beats! or Charlotte.

The series will premiere in October 2020 and will be produced by P.A. Works.

The writer and composer Jun Maeda is the intellectual author of the idea and who will be in charge of writing the scripts for the series. On the other hand, the illustrator Na-Ga will be the one who designs the characters. Both have already teamed up in both Angel Beats! like in Charlotte.

The conference was chaired by Takahiro Baba (President of VisualArts / Key), Mitsuhito Tsuji (Producer of PAWorks) and Hironori Toba (Producer of Aniplex) who revealed that the story will be an epic return for composer Jun Maeda who had been several years outside the industry due to health problems.


Synopsis of Kamisama nor Natta hi

Hina is a little girl who one day wakes up like a goddess. She predicts that the end of time will come soon and that is how she decides to look for a companion to accompany her during the apocalypse.
