The company Kadokawa Games published the third promotional video for the Root Film game. The video shows the main theme song titled “Utakata no Hikari”, performed by the i ☆ Ris music unit.
The game is scheduled to be released in Japan for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 consoles on July 30. In fact, the game was delayed from its original scheduled date of April 23. For their part, PQube and Kadokawa Games announced in October 2019 that the game will have a release for the same consoles later in North America and Europe.
The Root Film game is a sequel to the mystery-adventure video game Root Letter, and features a new murder story written by Hifumi Kouno. Similar to the first game, this installment will take place in Shimane Prefecture.
