Nintendo Switch , in addition to currently having an extensive catalog of great exclusives such as Super Mario Odyssey or new IPs such as Astral Chain , also grants the possibility of reviving classics of yesteryear with different relaunches that it is receiving thanks to its large numbers of sales.

The arrival of these classic games may be thanks to Nintendo Switch Online , but there are also cases where a compilation is prepared that includes various retro games so that its dedicated audience can enjoy these games in Nintendo's hybrid. The same has happened with a new hd remastering of 3 classic Taito games.

Nintendo Switch receives 3 classic games thanks to a new remastering announced

This is a compilation that includes 3 retro games largely unknown to western players: the games included in this compilation are: Time Gal (1985), Ninja Hayate (1984) and Space Battleship Yamato (baptized in the West as Star Blrazers ), a 1985 video game.

This compilation adds as an added value the possibility of enjoying these 3 games in an HD remastering previously unpublished, in addition to having a physical format that for the moment has only confirmed that it will reach Japanese lands.

The remastering has received the name of Taito LD Game Collection and is characterized by having anime aesthetic images that will benefit thanks to the new HD of these versions. The physical version of the game has a confirmed price of 5,720 yen.

This release has also confirmed a special edition of 19,580 yen which includes extra content on Blue-ray, small reprints of the 3 games, collectible material and the soundtrack of the game in download code, in addition to the game Time Gal Reverse by download code as the highlight of this edition.

Time Gal Reverse will take us to a game starring Luna, who visits various eras in a story focused on time travel.

The release date of the compilation that will land on Nintendo Switch is next December 14 and is ideal for those who crave the simple arcade experiences that these types of titles offered in the eighties.
