On the other hand, Kishimoto published the original manga through Shueisha 's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine between September 1999 and November 2014, with a total of seventy-two compiled volumes. The work inspired a 220-episode anime adaptation produced by Pierrot Studios and originally broadcast between October 2002 and February 2007.
