The official website for the anime adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu's DAN DA DAN manga revealed two new members of the voice cast who will join the series' highly anticipated second season.

Two New Paranormal Faces

The new characters announced are:

Hiroyuki Yoshino will play Manjirō, a priest at the Tsuchinoko Shrine with the curious dream of becoming a "Bootuber."

Naomi Ōzora will voice Chiquitita, son of the enigmatic Dover Demon.

Both characters will bring even more eccentricity to a series that already skillfully blends the paranormal, supernatural battles, and teen romantic comedy.

Premiere Date and Special Screenings

The second season of DAN DA DAN will premiere on Japanese television on July 3, as part of the Super Animeism Turbo programming block on MBS and TBS. In Spain (UTC+2), this is equivalent to the early hours of Wednesday, July 3.

Ahead of its official premiere, a pre-screening event will be held on June 29 at United Cinemas Toyosu, featuring appearances by the main cast.

In addition, the film DAN DA DAN: EVIL EYE, which compiles the first three episodes of the new season, will hit theaters in North America this Friday, following its Asian premiere (outside Japan) on May 30 and its next European screening this Saturday.

The Team Behind the Paranormal Mayhem

The new season is once again being directed by Science SARU, with Fūga Yamashiro and Abel Góngora as directors. The main cast returns, including Mutsumi Tamura as the voice of Evil Eye (Jashi). The opening song, titled “Kakumei Dōchū” (In the Midst of the Revolution), will be performed by Aina The End.
