The
endearing character Neko Konogoro, created by STUDY, will
return with a new anime titled Neko Konogoro ~Tenka Tōitsu Hen (The
Unification of the Country). The premiere is scheduled for July 4 at
3:15 a.m. (UTC+2) on the Kansai TV Broadcasting network.
Although the duration of the episode will be brief, barely a minute, it
promises to fill Japanese mornings with tenderness and humor.
A feline
story of national ambition
In this new
installment, we will follow the adventures of Nekotarō, a cat
originally from Kagoshima whose great dream is nothing less than to unify all
of Japan. The story adapts the digital manga Neko Konogoro ~Tenka
Tōitsu Hen, available on Amazon Kindle Indies, where this
peculiar proposal has captured the attention of a growing audience.

In
addition, Rin Aira herself will perform the main theme of the
anime, titled "Moeyase! Nekotama", which promises to
be as catchy as it is endearing.
A cat
legacy that continues to grow
This new
project adds to Neko Konogoro's long history. The character
debuted in anime in 2016, and later returned to screens in 2018 with
a series produced by Kachidoki Studio for Production
I.G.'s Tate Anime app. She also appeared on television as
part of Asahi Broadcasting's Enkame: That's Enka Tainment in October
2017, and her content was adapted for mobile.
Much
more than an anime: stickers and products
Neko
Konogoro's popularity
is not limited to the screen. The character has a wide range of official
products and stickers for LINE, confirming his presence in
Japanese pop culture. With this new anime, the friendly warrior cat promises to
continue conquering hearts... and territories.
