The
adaptation to the anime of the light novel Private Tutor to The Duke's Daughter
revealed a new trailer centered on Ellie, an adorable maid at the service of
Tina Howard's family. The character will be played by voice actress Kyoka
Moriya.
When does
the anime release?
The
premiere of the series is scheduled for July 5, 2025 in Japan. This corresponds
to July 5 at 5:00 p.m. (UTC+2) in Spain, as part of the summer season of that
year.
The story
follows a talented private guardian who is hired to teach a Duke's daughter,
unleashing a relationship marked by romance, the secrets of the nobility and
personal conflicts. In the midst of this scenario, Ellie stands out, the
trusted servant that brings warmth and emotional support to the protagonists.
From paper
to the screen: Trajectory of the work
The
original light novel was written by Riku Nanano and began its publication in
Kakuyomu in October 2017. In December 2018 he made the leap to the format
printed under the fujimi seal Fantasia Bunko, with Illustrations of Cura. To
date, 19 volumes have been published in Japan.
In
addition, the story was adapted to the manga in September 2019 with
illustrations of Tamura Muto, currently with four compilation volumes.
A team with
experience after production
The address
of the anime is in charge of Nobuyoshi Nagayama (Ayaka), with Kazuya Ishikura
as an assistant director, both working in Studio Blanc. The composition of the
series will be the work of Megumi Shimizu, while Akiko Toyoda will be in charge
of the characters design. The music will be borne by the experienced composer
Kei Haneoka.
With a
combination of aristocratic drama, youth romance and endearing characters,
Private Tutor to The Duke's Daughter aims to be one of the emotional jewels of
the summer of 2025.
