Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! Reveals Ending Song and Premiere Date

The anime adaptation of the light novel Scooped Up by an S-Rank Adventurer! (Yūsha Party o Tsuihō Sareta Shiro Madōshi, S-Rank Bōkensha ni Hirowareru) confirmed its early premiere on July 6 in Japan. Through a new promotional video, the project also revealed its ending theme song and new voices joining the cast.

 

Ending Song with a Familiar Voice and New Character


Singer ChouCho will perform the ending theme song, titled "Hikaru Sasu Tobira" (The Door That Lets the Light In), a piece that promises to capture the emotional essence of this fantasy story of self-improvement.

 

Among the new cast members is MAO, who will play Claire, the second princess of the empire. Claire possesses the rare ability to control monsters through magic, although she hides her identity under the pseudonym Kureha while accompanying the protagonist.

 


When and where can it be seen?


The premiere on streaming services such as d Anime Store and ABEMA is scheduled for July 6 at 5:00 AM (UTC+2). The series will then begin airing on channels such as Tokyo MX, Sun TV, and BS Fuji on July 10. Crunchyroll also confirmed that it will offer the series internationally under its English title.

The creative team behind the project




Hiroshi Tamada (known for The Heroic Legend of Arslan OVA) is directing the series at Felix Film Studio, while Akihiko Inari is writing the scripts. The character designs are by Yūta Itō, with music composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi and Tsubasa Handa.

 

The story follows Lloyd, a humble white mage who is expelled from the hero's party. Believing himself to be ordinary, he is rescued by a group of S-rank magicians and joins their cause. Little by little, his true power emerges, and the world discovers that Lloyd is no ordinary mage, but someone incredibly powerful.

 

From web novel to multimedia phenomenon


Sora Suigetsu's work began as a web novel in March 2020 on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. The light novels illustrated by DeeCHA have been published by Futabasha since November of the same year, and their eighth volume will be released on June 30.

 

The manga illustrated by Wasabi Mukuno has been published since January 2021 on the Gaugau Monster platform. Futabasha released its ninth compiled volume on May 30.
