Watari-kun arrives soon with drama and chaos this summer on July 4

The official website of the anime adaptation of Watari-kun's ****** Is about to Collapse surprised fans with the launch of two new trailers presenting the main musical themes and confirming their release date for the July 5 at 01:00 hours ( UTC + 2 ). The series will be broadcast in Japan at 25:00 JST on July 4, which is equivalent to the morning of the following day in Spanish.



Intense music for emotional drama


The opening theme will be interpreted by Yuika with the song “ Yurei or Narita ”, while the closing theme will be in charge of PEDRO with “ Ai Ai Ai Ai Ai ”. Both songs accompany a story full of emotional tension and complex family ties.


New faces join the cast


Along with the new visual key, Three new cast members were announced. The confirmed cast is as follows:

  • Satsuki Tachibana – performed by Yumika Yano
  • Yukari Ishihara – performed by Yurie Igoma
  • Makina Umezawa – performed by Meg Umezawa

A story of devotion and trauma from the past


The plot follows Naoto Watari, a young man whose life revolves around the care of his younger sister Suzushiro. Everything changes with the reappearance of her enigmatic childhood friend, Satsuki, who, without saying a word, unleashes buried memories and destabilizes their routine existence. Between secrets, repressed emotions and family conflicts, Watari's emotional stability falters dangerously.


A high-level production team


Management is in the hands of Takashi Naoya (Vermeil in Gold), under study production Staple EntertainmentMatsuo Asami acts as assistant director, Tatsuya Takahashi (Grisaia: Phantom Trigger) is responsible for the composition of the series, and Shoko Yasuda (My Happy Marriage) performs character design. The original manga was created by Naru Narumi.


Simulcast confirmed in Crunchyroll


The series will be available in simulcast through Crunchyroll, which will allow fans to follow each episode at the same time as in Japan.
