The
film Fushigi no Kuni by Alice to -Dive in Wonderland-, produced by
the renowned studio P.A. WORKS, shared a new
promotional video in the style of a music video on Thursday. The
trailer is accompanied by the title track titled
"Zukan" ("Book of Illustrations"), performed by
the popular Japanese band SEKAI NO OWARI.
The video
immerses us in the colorful and chaotic world of Wonderland,
following the protagonists Rise and Alice as
they venture among fantastic creatures and dreamlike scenarios. This visual
piece reinforces the emotional and magical tone that will characterize the
feature film. The film is scheduled to be released in Japanese theaters
on August 29 (local time), which corresponds to August 28 at
17:00 in Spain (UTC+2).
A
contemporary reinterpretation of the classic
Toshiya
Shinohara (The
Aquatope on White Sand) is directing the project, while Yuko
Kakihara (Dragon Ball DAIMA) is in charge of the script. The
animation is by P.A. WORKS, a studio known for its visually
striking and emotionally deep work.

Thus begins
the story of Rise Azumino, a college student lost in routine and
expectations. One day, she finds a letter of invitation left
by her deceased grandmother, which guides her to Wonderland, a
world full of madness and wonder. There he meets a mysterious girl named Alice,
with whom he will embark on a journey like no other.
During his
adventure, Rise encounters characters such as the White Rabbit,
the Caterpillar, the Queen of Hearts, Card Soldiers,
the Mad Hatter, the March Hare, Humpty Dumpty, Tweedle
Dee and Tweedle Dum, the Cheshire Cat, and many more.
What future
will Rise choose in the midst of this world of madness shared with Alice? The
film promises to be an emotionally and visually stunning adventure about
