The
long-awaited animated adaptation of Koala's Diary already
has a premiere date: it will begin streaming in October 2025 through
its official YouTube channel. The news was accompanied by a first
teaser trailer and the reveal of voice actress Aya Uchida, who will
play the main character, Koala-san. Uchida is known for her role as
Asuka Kawato in The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses.

teaser and main illustration shared, we see Koala-san holding
a blue pencil, ready to write in her journal. He carries a backpack on
his side and is surrounded by charming drawings depicting everyday moments,
giving the project a warm and nostalgic atmosphere.

The plot
revolves around a koala documenting his day-to-day life in a diary. Regardless
of whether it was a good or bad day, each day has a special value. This
simple but emotional premise has captured the attention of many readers and now
seeks to excite also in animated format.
The team
behind the adaptation
The series
is based on Yuami's original manga, published by KADOKAWA since June
11, 2021 in Japan. To date, four volumes have been compiled.
The web anime adaptation will be directed by Takao Kato at the
MOTHER studio, while Chiharu Hara is in charge of
character design. With an introspective and visually charming approach, Koala's
Diary promises to be a comforting proposal within the world of digital
anime.
