The
endearing protagonist of the anime Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel returns
to the stage in a very special way. To commemorate the 40th anniversary of
the series, the release of the album ROCK'n Mami 80's has been
announced, which brings together covers of iconic Japanese rock songs from the
eighties.
Takako
Ohta Voices the Magic Idol Again
Original
performer Takako Ohta, who in the 80s voiced both Yuu and Mami and
sang the original themes of the anime, returns to give life to a total of 13
new songs. This album is the continuation of the album released in 2023
with J-pop covers, keeping the musical legacy of the series alive.

The
album Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel ~ROCK'n Mami 80's~ will be
released on October 29, 2025 in Japan (early morning of the
29th in Spain, UTC+2).
The
original anime Creamy Mami, the Magic Angel aired between July
1983 and June 1984, marking the start of a series of annual magical girl
productions that continued with Magical Fairy Persia (1984), Magic
Star Magical Emi (1985), and Magical Idol Pastel Yumi (1986).
Today, Mami
has maintained her presence thanks to collaborations with VTubers,
reissues of her songs and new video clips that rekindle the nostalgia of an
entire generation.
