manga Kuroneko to Majo no Kyōshitsu (English title: The
Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch), by Yōsuke Kaneda, will

A
magical cast for an enchanting story
The series
will feature Kaede Hondo as Spica Virgo, a witch's
apprentice who dreams of becoming a top-notch sorceress, although she suffers
from not being able to use magic. By his side will be Nobunaga
Shimazaki playing Claude Sirius, a powerful wizard who has
been transformed into a cat by a curse.
Both
characters form a peculiar duo when Claude unexpectedly appears before Spica.
She wishes to learn magic; he, to break the curse that turned him into a cat.
Their goals align, and thus begins a secret pact between master and
apprentice... the key point of which could depend on an unexpected kiss!
Creative
team with experience in romances
The
direction will be in charge of Naoyuki Tatsuwa, known for his work
in series such as Nisekoi and Promise of Wizard.
The script is written by Midori Gotō (Mr. Villain's Day Off),
while Takayuki Onoda (Hortensia Saga) will be in charge
of character design. The animation will be in the hands of the LIDEN
FILMS studio.
