official Love Live! YouTube channel premiered the video clip
for "AI♡SCREAM!", the first track of the special
group AiScReam, a unit made up of three voice actresses who unite
different generations of the franchise.
Origin
of AiScReam
The group
was born as a unit limited in time, created from the radio
program Love Live! Series no All Night Nippon Gold. Its members
are Ai Furihata (Ruby Kurosawa in Love Live!
Sunshine!!), Aguri Onishi (Ayumu Uehara on Love
Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club) and Wakana Okuma (Shiki
Wakana on Love Live! Superstar!!).
Success
in Japan and abroad
The
physical single "AI♡SCREAM!" was
released in Japan on January 22, 2025, managing to rank No.
7 on Oricon's weekly chart in its first week. The phenomenon also
achieved great popularity outside the country: in May, Billboard Japan highlighted
it in the "Global Japan Songs Excl. Japan", where it
obtained the third place among the most listened to Japanese
songs worldwide.
The
digital impact
Before the
premiere of the video clip, the lyric video published on May
29 had already caused a furor, accumulating more than 9.7
million views in just three months. With the official release of the music
video, the group seeks to further consolidate its success among local and
international fans of the Love Live! saga.
