The
Japanese dub of the donghua The Richest Man in Game (Kui Cheng Shoufu
Cong Youxi Kaishi) has announced the addition of five new actors. Marika
Kono will play Lin Wan, Chiaki Kobayashi will play Xu Bao, Shunichi
Toki will play Sibo Huang, Shizuka Ito as Xin Hailu and Shugo
Nakamura will take on the role of Ruan Guangjian. In addition, Nobuhiko
Okamoto and Jun Fukuyama return as Ma Yang and Richest (Fortune
Conversion System), respectively.
A story
of risk and ambition
The
protagonist, Pei Qian (voiced by Kensho Ono), is a mediocre office
worker who is transported back to his college years and receives a proposal
from the mysterious entity called the Fortune Conversion System: start a
business with start-up funds provided and take any losses as personal gain.
What seems like an easy path to wealth becomes a high-stakes challenge, where
every decision can be both a success and a failure.

Also
known as Losing Money to Be a Tycoon, the donghua is scheduled to
begin airing on B8station in Japan in October 2025. The new cast
promises to bring dynamism and depth to the characters, enhancing the business
narrative, strategy and personal growth of the series.
