The
anime To Your Eternity (Fumetsu no Anata e) prepares its
long-awaited return with a third season that will premiere in
October through NHK General. The announcement was accompanied by a new
promotional video that not only shows unreleased images, but also the opening
theme composed by Yasutaka Nakata for the group Perfume,
titled "Fumetsu no Anata." The detail did not go
unnoticed, as the musical trio has just announced an indefinite hiatus from
2026.
New
characters and voices confirmed
The season
will add several well-known actors who will give life to key figures in the
plot:
- Rumi Ōkubo as Mimori, an essential
piece to unravel the enemy's secret
- Shizuka Itō as Izumi, Mizuha's
protective mother
- Shinichirō Miki as Itsuki, Mizuha's
father
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Hirotoshi, Mimori's
brother-in-law
Based on
the manga by Yoshitoki Ōima, author of A Silent Voice,
the series has stood out since its premiere in 2021 for its philosophical and
emotional tone, exploring the immortality and evolution of its protagonist
Fushi through different eras. This third season aims to further expand its
universe with new allies and conflicts that will mark a turning point in the
story.

broadcast the new season globally, ensuring that fans of the series can
continue with the story simultaneously with Japan.
