The
production team of Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise he
announced that the film will feature functions in 4DX format from November
21st in select theaters in Japan. Along with the announcement, a new
promotional poster was revealed highlighting the project's signature energy.
The film
was released on October 24 and he managed to position himself
in it eighth place from the Japanese box office during its
first weekend, grossing 97,269,200 yen (approximately
$638,800) in its first three days. The film features the return of the main
cast, while Daisuke Ono he joins the cast as the new
character Naomasa Amabuki.
The
return of the zombie idols
The
saga Zombie Land Saga, produced by MAPPA, Avex
Pictures and Cygames, originally debuted in october
2018 with a mix of comedy, music and zombies that quickly gained
popularity. Its sequel, Zombie Land Saga Revenge, premiered
in april 2021 and he maintained the same irreverent and
emotional tone.
In addition to the animated adaptations, the franchise also inspired one theatrical work presented in the Sōgetsu Hall in Tokyo in September 2020, as well as the spin-off manga Zombie Land Saga Gaiden: The First Zombie, created by the character designer Kasumi Fukagawa and published between 2021 and 2022.
