the work
The plot of
this teen romantic comedy follows Hayato, a high school student who
moves to a new school in the city. There he reunites with Haruki,
his old childhood friend with whom he used to play seven years ago. The twist
of the story occurs when Hayato, who during all that time was convinced that
Haruki was a boy, discovers that she is actually a beautiful and refined girl,
completely altering the dynamics of their relationship and opening the way to
new feelings.
The
original work, written by Yu Hibari, began publication in web novel
