The
theatrical tour of the first cinematic part of the final arc is about to
conclude. It has been officially announced that the film Demon Slayer:
Kimetsu no Yaiba - Infinity Castle will end its screenings in theaters
in Japan on April 9.
To
commemorate the closure of its screenings after its original premiere on July
18, 2025, attendees will receive special illustrated cards divided into two
installments starting March 20. In addition, the production has scheduled
special cheer screening screenings for April 4 and 5 in
selected cinemas, allowing the vocal interaction of the audience in an
organized way.

The
production of this first installment of the trilogy falls back to the ufotable studio.
The overall direction of the project remains in charge of Haruo
Sotozaki, with Akira Matsushima leading the character
design and animation direction. The musical composition is a joint effort
between Yuki Kajiura and Go Shiina.

the franchise
The film,
based on the original work by mangaka Koyoharu Gotoge, arrived in
theaters in Latin America on September 11, 2025. During its run in theaters,
the feature film has accumulated more than 39.7 billion yen at
the Japanese box office, positioning itself as the second highest-grossing film
in history in the country, surpassing Spirited Away and being
only behind its predecessor, Mugen Train.
Globally,
the project became the first Japanese film to surpass the 100 billion
yen barrier, having sold more than 89 million tickets. This commercial
performance has been accompanied by multiple recognitions in the industry,
including the award for Best Animated Film at both the Japan Academy Film Prize
and the Tokyo Anime Award Festival.
