The Culling Game is about to increase in
intensity even more. The teaser for the fourth season of Jujutsu
Kaisen: Culling Game Part 2 arrived showing very high-voltage
confrontations, and along with it an important change was confirmed behind the
scenes: Takeru Sato takes the direction of this cour,
succeeding the previous leadership of the production.
The new video highlights several of the
matchups that will define this installment: Kinji Hakari vs. Hajime
Kashimo with his cursed techniques completely unleashed, Maki
Zenin demonstrating overwhelming strength, Choso and Yuki
Tsukumo facing Kenjaku, and emotionally charged scenes
with Yuji Itadori and Megumi Fushiguro struggling
in desperate situations. The footage emphasizes animation and dramatic visuals
that capture the growing chaos of the Culling Game arc.
A change of director with experience within the
project itself
Takeru Sato doesn't arrive as a new face: he
previously worked as assistant director and episode director on the third
season, Culling Game Part 1, as well as having directed the film Zombieland
Saga: Yumeginga Paradise. In his statements, Sato expressed his sense of
responsibility to work on a series with so much passion behind it and an
original work so beloved by fans. He noted that he finds strength in the
dedication of the crew and cast, and that the entire group is approaching the
production with sincerity, seeking to deliver the appeal of the series in the
best animated form possible.
