The Haigakura Anime Production Team, based on Shinobu Takayama manga, announced that the series will be transmitted again from the first episode from July 3 in Japan. This decision is made after several months of pause with the aim of maintaining the quality of the animation.

The new broadcast will begin on the Tokyo MX channel on July 3 at 25:30 hours (that is, at 1:30 a.m. on July 4, local time in Japan, equivalent to 18:30 on July 3 in Spain). Subsequently, it will be broadcast on BS-ASAHI on July 4 and on SUN TV on July 6.

An expected return after months of pause

The anime originally premiered on October 7, 2023, but its transmission was interrupted after the seventh episode. Since November 25, the series began to broadcast its first six chapters in a weekly way. Finally, the long -awaited eighth episode will be broadcast on August 21, marking the official return of unpublished content.

To commemorate the restart, a new promotional visual was revealed, accompanied by a special video that shows key anime scenes.

A story of immortals, lost memories and redemption

The story follows Ichiyo, a "kashi" who, along with his partner Tenko, undertakes a trip in search of his lost memories and his captured family. In a world where human and immortal coexist, and where the balance hangs from a thread, both look for the legendary four dangers, entities that keep the kingdom of immortals together.

It is a story of action, fantasy and self -discovery, with a deep narrative set in a universe on the edge of collapse.

The anime is led by Junichi Yamamoto (More than to Married Couple, But Not Lvers, Armor Shop for Ladies & Gentlemen) in the Typhoon Graphics studio. Yū Murai is in charge of the script, while the characters design is on behalf of Masaki Satō (Slam Dunk, Record of Ragnarok). Music is composed of Yuki Kurihara, with musical themes played by Madkid ("Chaser", Opening) and Hikaru Makishima ("Phoenix", Ending).

The anime is available on platforms such as Amazon Prime Video (in limited regions), Tubi and the YouTube channel It’s Anime! For the United States and Canada, in addition to Anime Onegai in selected territories.

A long experience manga

Haigakura has been published since 2008, first in the Zero-Sum Ward magazine in Ichijinsha. After the closing of the magazine in 2015, he continued his serialization in Zero-Sum online, becoming the longest work of its author. It currently has 16 published volumes and exceeds 1.3 million copies in circulation, including digital editions. It should be noted that another work of Takayama, Amatsuki, was also adapted to the anime in 2008.

The restart of Haigakura represents a second chance to attract both spectators and the followers of the original manga, who have patiently waited for the return of this production.
