At the
conclusion of episode 13 of Uma Musume: Cinderella Gray, a new
promotional teaser was presented confirming the premiere of its second
part for October 2025. The series, based on the manga by Taiyo
Kuzumi and part of the Uma Musume Pretty Derby universe,
takes a temporary hiatus after completing its first cour.
An expanding international broadcast
The anime
premiered on April 6 through TBS and 27 other affiliates in
Japan. As for its international distribution, it can be seen on Amazon
Prime Video and on the official It's Anime channel on
YouTube in regions such as the United States, Mexico, Canada, the
United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and part of Europe
and the Middle East.
It is also
available on Anime Onegai for Latin America and will arrive on
the ADN platform in European countries such as France,
Germany, Belgium and other French-speaking and German-speaking
territories.
A
production with great high-level experience
The
direction is in charge of Takehiro Miura, known for his work
on Fate/Apocrypha and Sword Art Online,
accompanied by Yūki Itō in Cygames. The character design is
by Takuya Miyahara and Keigo Sasaki, while the
script is written by Masafumi Sugiura, with Junnosuke Itō as
the planner of the original manga.
The
story of Oguri Cap continues
The
original manga, which has been published in Weekly Young Jump magazine
since June 2020, is entering its final arc and will return from its
hiatus on July 17. Oguri Cap is the protagonist of
this story, in a spin-off more focused on drama and self-improvement within the
competitive world of the "Horse Girls".
Uma
Musume: a phenomenon in multiple formats
The
franchise has already added three seasons of anime, specials such as Road
to the Top, and films such as Shinjidai no Tobira, released
in May 2024. The original video game debuted in February
2021 for mobile and later PC, allowing players to train horse girls to
become idols and elite athletes.
