This
Thursday, the official X/Twitter account of Digimon Beatbreak, the
new anime of the popular Digimon franchise, revealed who will
be the voice actors who will play the protagonists of the story.
Actor Miyu
Irino will play the protagonist Tomorō Tenma, a
15-year-old high school student. For her part, the renowned seiyuu Megumi
Han will voice Gekkomon, Tomorō's Digimon companion.
A new
digital adventure begins in October
Digimon
Beatbreak is
scheduled to premiere in October 2025 (local time in Japan),
adding to the extensive line of series of the franchise that continues to be so
popular.
More
than two decades of digital stories
The Digimon saga
began with the broadcast of Digimon Adventure in 1999. It was
followed by Digimon Adventure 02 between 2000 and 2001, and
later Digimon Frontier, which had 50 episodes between April 2002
and March 2003. The most recent installment, Digimon Ghost Game,
aired from October 2021 to March 2023, ending with its 68th episode.
With Digimon
Beatbreak, the franchise promises a new generation of digital adventures
that will continue to conquer both longtime fans and new viewers.
