Ahead of
its premiere in October 2025, the fantasy anime A Wild Last Boss
Appeared! revealed a special 174-second teaser showing
an intense combat sequence taken directly from the opening of the first
episode. The clip offers a first look at the powerful cast of characters
surrounding the enigmatic protagonist.
Stellar
voices for a legendary world
Along with
the preview, the voice actors who will bring new characters to life within
the Exgate Online universe were confirmed:
- Alioth will be played by Shunsuke
Takeuchi
- Megrez will be voiced by Tomoaki
Maeno
- Merak will be voiced by Daiki
Hirakawa
- Benetnash will be played by Satomi

A story
that combines MMO, reincarnation and redemption
Set in the
year 2800, the story follows Lofas Maphaahl, known as
"the Black-winged Tyrant" and former leader of the Twelve
Heavenly Stars. After being defeated 200 years ago during a player-created
event in the game Exgate Online, a man mysteriously awakens in the
body of Lufas... But this time, the world is real. Not knowing how
to return to her original form or why she was summoned, Lufas must face the
ravages of her own legacy while searching for allies and answers.
Production
with important names and international publication
The project
is directed by Yuya Horiuchi (Nijiyon Animation)
under the WAO World studio. The script and composition of the
series are in charge of Kazuyuki Fudeyasu (Shangri-La
Frontier), the character design is signed by Maiko Ebisawa, and
the music is in charge of the group TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND (Acro
Trip).
The
original light novel series is published in English by J-Novel Club under
the title A Wild Last Boss Appeared!, and is available in digital
format for international readers.
