The
September issue of LaLa magazine, published by Hakusensha,
confirmed that the manga Together Forever (Suenagaku Yoroshiku
Onegaishimasu), the work of Junko Ike, will conclude in two
chapters.
A
complicated and unusual love story
The story
follows Takatsukasa Hikaru, who after the sudden death of her
father, is adopted by her cousin Kuzukiri Kiyomizu. Despite the
situation, Hikaru makes no secret of his intense romantic love for
Kiyomizu, who clearly does not reciprocate his feelings. This
complex dynamic has been the central axis of the plot since its inception.
More
than four years of publication
The series
debuted in March 2020 and has since been published in LaLa
magazine. To date, the Hakusensha publishing house has
released 14 compilation volumes, the most recent of them on July
4.
An
author with an outstanding career
Junko
Ike is also
known for other titles such as Mizutama Honey Boy and Sangatsu
no Hekireki. Their style is characterized by mixing emotional
drama, comedy and romance in unconventional contexts, and Together
Forever has been no exception.
At the
moment, the final chapter is expected to be published by the end of
September 2025, considering the monthly rhythm of the magazine. The English
version of the manga is available through the Comikey platform.
With its
end already on the horizon, Together Forever is preparing to
leave a final impression among readers who have followed this story of
forbidden feelings and complex family bonds.
