The second
film of Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club released a new
trailer on Friday that teases its title track, "Yakusoku ni Nare
Bokura no Uta" ("May our song become a promise"). The
film is part of the final Kanketsu-hen trilogy and will be
released in Japan on November 7.
The film
will have screenings with the presence of the cast on November 9 at
Marunouchi Piccadilly, as well as live broadcasts in other theaters in
Japan. Cheer screenings, functions that encourage the active
participation of the public, will also be held in 27 theaters from November
14. For eight weeks, different retrospective and final versions will be
shown, with special gifts for attendees.
In this
installment, Karin, Ai, Setsuna, Rina, Shioriko and Mia will
embark on a journey through Kyoto, Osaka and Kobe, in the Kansai region. The
film continues after two television seasons and the Next Sky OVA,
and reunites the original cast and crew of the franchise.
A
closure for the saga
The trilogy
serves as a conclusion to the story of the School Idol Club. The
first film was released on September 6, and with this second film
the saga advances towards its definitive outcome.
