The anime
production team Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai (I'll
Never Have a Romantic Comedy with My Childhood Friend) published a new
promotional video featuring the main cast, staff and closing theme song. The
series adapts the manga of Shinya Misu and it will be produced
by Tezuka Productions.
The video
confirms that Takehiro Urao he will play the protagonist Yonosuke
Sakai, in addition to revealing a preview of the final topic titled “Amanojaku” (Contrary),
performed by the singer Hikari Codama. The production has the
participation of CyberAgent.
Creative
team and production details
The
management is in charge of Satoshi Kuwabara, known for his work
in The Café Terrace and Its Goddesses and The
Quintessential Quintuplets. Script supervision falls on Mitsutaka
Hirota (Edens Zero, Rent-A-Girlfriend), who
collaborates with Mayumi Morita (Black Jack). For its
part, Queen Iwasaki (VTuber Legend) design the
characters.
The
original manga, written and illustrated by Shinya Misu, began its
publication on the site Magazine Pocket of Kodansha in
March 2022. To date, the publisher has launched 18 compiled volumes,
the most recent published on November 7th.
With a romantic and humorous proposal focused on childhood friendship Osananajimi to wa LoveCom ni Naranai it promises to join the catalog of youth comedies that set trends in the next season.
