The first season of Witch Hat Atelier ended and the second season is already confirmed. The production team of the anime based on Kamome Shirahama's manga announced the continuation along with Crunchyroll, which will broadcast the new installment. The announcement came with a special endcard illustration to mark the occasion, as the team revealed the musical themes that will define the second season.

The opening is called "Kaze no Anthem feat. suis from yorushika" (Hymn of the Wind) and is performed by Eve together with suis de yorushika, a combination that has all the potential to become one of the most talked about songs of the year. The endings are in charge of Nakamura Hak, with three songs: "Tada Utsukushii no Noroi" (Only A Beautiful Curse), "Yoru ni Ukabu" (Floating in the Night) and "Hikari" (Light)

The central team of the first season returns almost intact. Ayumu Watanabe returns as director at BUG FILMS, Kairi Unabara continues as character designer and chief animation director, and Yuka Kitamura composes the music for the new season. Also returning are assistant director Jun Shinohara, script supervisor Hiroshi Seko and art director Ryota Goto, among others.
