Megumi Hayashibara joins the cast of Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

On the official site for the new 3DCG anime of the Ghost in the Shell franchise, titled Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2045 (stylized as Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045), it was announced that voice actress Megumi Hayashibara will join the cast. of voices playing Takashi Shimamura, a mysterious "post-human" that will be key in the history of the series.


For its part, the anime will premiere on April 23 through the Netflix platform and a second season is confirmed. A new anime project based on the original Masamune Shirow manga Ghost in the Shell had been announced in April 2017.
