A week ago,
the official website launched, confirming that Mika Yamamori 's
manga "In the Clear Moonlit Dusk" (Uruwashi no Yoi no
Tsuki) will be adapted into a television anime. The premiere is scheduled
for January 2026 on TBS in Japan.
A love
story between high school “princes”
The plot
follows Yoi Takiguchi , a girl with such elegant and manly
appearance that everyone nicknames her "the prince." But her world
changes when she meets Kohaku Ichimura , an equally charming
boy who not only sees beyond her facade but also awakens new feelings in her.
Thus begins the story of these two "princes" who defy appearances and
explore a sincere connection.

The
production will be handled by East Fish Studio under the
direction of Yūsuke Maruyama . Ayumu Hisao ,
known for his work on Kono Oto Tomare! , will be in charge of
series composition, while Yuki Fukuda ( Insomniacs
After School ) will be in charge of character design. The soundtrack
will be composed by Tsubasa Ito .
A manga
that has conquered the female audience
The
original manga has been serialized in Kodansha 's Dessert magazine
since 2020 , and its ninth compiled book volume will be released on May
13. The manga has been recognized as one of the best titles for female
readers in the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! 2023 guide , ranking 11th.
