During
their panel at Anime Central , Kamitsubaki
Studio officially unveiled the opening theme song for
their new original anime project Kamitsubaki City Under Construction ( Kamitsubaki-shi
Kensetsu-chū ).
The virtual
artist group VWP (Virtual Witch Phenomenon) , made up of the
same seiyuus from the anime, will perform the song “Utahime” ,
a song that promises to capture the mystical and emotional essence of the
story.
Global
premiere confirmed for July
The series
is scheduled to premiere in Japan on July 3 at 11:56 PM local
time, equivalent to 4:56 PM in Spain (UTC+2). It will air
on 27 TBS affiliated networks .
On the
other hand, Crunchyroll has confirmed that it will distribute
the anime internationally in regions such as America, Europe, Africa,
Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS and India .
A
virtual city full of mysteries
The story
centers on Kamitsubaki City , a virtual metropolis steeped in
chaos and mystery. A group of girls must confront the city's secrets and
restore its lost balance.
The main
cast is made up of the members of the group VWP:
- KAF as Kaf Morisaki ,
an ordinary student who finds music to be her true passion.
- RIM as Rime Tanioki , a
girl who excels in everything from studies to sports and singing.
- Harusaruhi as Haru Asanushi ,
optimistic and energetic, driven by her friendships and songs.
- Isekaijoucho as Sekai Yorukawa ,
naive but determined to fight for what she believes in.
- KOKO as Koko Rinne , compassionate and protective of her friends
