REMOW has
officially announced that it will handle global distribution for
the anime Necromancer Isekai: How I Went from Abandoned
Villager to the Emperor's Favorite , an adaptation of Nazuna Miki 's
popular light novel . The series will be released worldwide except in
Japan, with streaming platforms to be announced soon.
The
announcement was accompanied by the official English logo and
the introduction of the main cast , who will bring to life the
key characters in this new isekai story.
A new
fantasy isekai with dragons and secrets
The story
follows Matteo , a young man who, after being abandoned, is
reincarnated as the grandson of an aristocrat in a magical world. There, he
discovers his ability to master ancient magical arts and even
hatch dragon eggs . His talent soon attracts the attention of
the Emperor , but Matteo hides a secret identity that could
change everything...

The seiyuus who
will voice the main characters of the story are:
- Maaya Uchida as Matteo ,
the protagonist with immense hidden magical power.
- Yuki Yomichi as Ishtar ,
a mysterious figure with extraordinary abilities.
- Sayako Tōjō as Hecate ,
expert in the dark arts.
- Mei Igarashi as Metis ,
wise and enigmatic adventure companion.

project with talent behind the scenes
Production
is being handled by GENCO , with Masahiko Komino ( Gibiate )
directing under la-unch・BOX . Tsutomu Kaneko ( Kamikaze
Kaito Jeanne , Master Keaton ) is in charge of the
script, while Junko Yamanaka ( Kono Oto Tomare! )
is in charge of the character designs.

novel to expanding franchise
The project
began as a novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō platform in May
2020 . Shueisha began officially publishing it
in 2021 and released the seventh volume on May
13, 2024 . It also has a manga adaptation by Suzume
Kumo , which has been published since December 2022 in
Dash x Comic. The third compiled volume was published this
Monday.
Featuring
ancient magic, imperial mysteries, and a protagonist with a hidden power, Necromancer
Isekai is poised to be one of the most anticipated new titles in the
