This
Thursday, Aniplex released the second promotional video for the anime Ruri no
Hōseki (original title: Introduction to Mineralogy), based on the manga by
Keiichirō Shibuya. The trailer not only reveals new images but also confirms
the July 6 premiere date and features the opening and ending themes.
The opening
theme song will be "Hikari no Sumika" ("House of Light")
performed by Rei Yasuda, while the ending theme will be titled
"Sapphire," performed by Hana Hope.

The anime
will premiere on Saturday, July 6, starting on AT-X at 2:00 PM (CET). It will
then air on Tokyo MX at 2:30 PM and on BS11 at 3:30 PM. It will then air on ABC
TV and TV Aichi on Tuesday, July 9.

Minerals
and Emotions in a Unique Story
This
"scientific journey" revolves around Ruri, a high school student with
a passion for minerals and jewels. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she
meets Nagi, a mineralogy graduate student, who introduces her to a fascinating
world filled with precious stones and personal discoveries.
The manga
launched in 2019 in Kadokawa's Harta magazine and concluded with five volumes,
the last of which was published on September 13.
With a
unique approach and high-quality production, Ruri no Hōseki is shaping up to be
one of the most refreshing offerings of the 2025 summer season.
