The anime BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita reveals a new trailer and its opening

0

That a member of Unison Square Garden writes the opening of a virtual band anime is not a minor detail. BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita, centered around the virtual band Mugendai Mewtype (also known as YumeMita), released its second trailer revealing the clean version of the opening sequence, the main visual of the series, and the accompanying theme song, with a premiere confirmed for July 2, 2026.

The opening theme is called "Kore wa Boku-tachi no Seizon no Arasuji" (Our Survival) and is performed by Mugendai Mewtype herself. The song was written by Tomoya Tabuchi, a member of Unison Square Garden, a collaboration that connects directly to the world of BanG Dream! with one of the most recognized Japanese rock bands outside the idol field. The new trailer features the opening animation in its final form, with no overlaid credits, offering the clearest glimpse yet into the show's visual style and tone.

Mugendai Mewtype consists of Arale Nakamachi on lead vocals, Nonoka Miyanaga and Ritsu Minetsuki on guitar, Miyako Fuji on keyboards, and Yuno Sengoku as DJ and manipulator of the group. The anime will premiere with its first three episodes on the day of the debut, giving the audience a more substantial start than usual.

The Production Team

The direction is in charge of Tomomi Umetsu at the NICHICALINE studio, with Hiroshi Morita as assistant director. Midori Goto oversees the scripts alongside Akiko WabaYotsuji Haibuchi, and Hitomi Ogawa. The character design is by Osamu Nobusawa and Mochipuyo, while PHYZ produces the music for the series.

About BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita

BanG Dream! Yume∞Mita is the latest installment of the multimedia project BanG Dream!, centered on the virtual band Mugendai Mewtype. The franchise has built its identity around fictional bands with real music, live concerts, rhythm games and anime adaptations that coexist with each other within the same expanded universe. Each new band within the project usually receives its own sound and visual identity, and the incorporation of Tomoya Tabuchi as composer of the opening suggests that YumeMita seeks to differentiate itself with a musical proposal closer to alternative rock than to traditional pop idol.
